Propose a Special Issue
To register your interest in leading a Special Issue in the Aerospace Research Communications please complete this form or contact the Editorial Office (arc@frontierspartnerships.org) to discuss your idea.
Defined and led by expert researchers, they bring together communities to write, review, and publish new research around a shared interest – sparking conversation and stimulating future collaboration.
Is there a trend in your field that is missing in-depth analysis or where new concepts are being developed? Are you organising or have recently organised a symposium, the topic of which needs more thorough discussion – and a wider audience? Submit a Special Issue proposal to ARC!
How do Special Issues work?
Each topic is led – from defining the scope to final publication - by a team of topic editors.
They invite other researchers to join the community by contributing their research as authors. As well as these invited submissions, all researchers are welcome to submit their paper to any open topic, as long as it fits within the scope.
All submitted manuscripts go through the same rigorous peer review as any other Frontiers' article
Topics have an open and closed date, both of which are flexible. While the topic is open, each article is published as soon as it is accepted.
Each completed Special Issue is an Editorial which authored by the Guest Editors and a freely shareable eBook
